Racine AAUW - Immigration Reform

 RACINE AAUW MEMBERS TO LEARN IMMIGRATION REFORM AT
JANUARY MEETING:



Sister Joyce Quintana will speak about Immigration Reform
at the Racine AAUW meeting on Saturday, January 11, at the Siena Retreat
Center, 5635 Erie St.

 Registration is at 9:00 a.m., breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and
program at 10:30 a.m.  Reservations can
be made by sending an $8.00 check, made out to Racine AAUW, to Pat Holt, PO Box
214, Somers, WI 53171.  The deadline for
reservations is December 27. 



 While the program can be attended free-of-charge,
reservations are still requested in order to have enough seating.  Call 262-859-3085.

 Sister Quintana’s work with adult immigrants began in 1996
when she became the Director of the Adult Learning Program, a sponsored
ministry of the Racine Dominicans at that time.



 In her presentation, she will talk abut why people are
migrating worldwide and discuss some of the major myths surrounding the
immigration issue here in the United States.



 The American Association of University Women advances
