Obituary: Hannah Hartman, 20, of Caledonia

A Caledonia woman and her horse die on the same day.

A 20-year-old Caledonia woman died on Monday and so did her horse A.P., according to her obituary.

Hannah Irene Hartman, 20, graduated from Grace Christian Academy in 2010, was an active 4-H member and was a waitress at the Lotus Restaurant in Oak Creek.

The obituary did not mention a cause of death. A call was made to Hannah's family, but has not been returned.

A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Jubilee Christian Family Church, 3639 W. Ryan Rd., in Franklin. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. after the visitiation.

From this, one would assume the horse was put down because of her death.

JQ -- I'm not making that assumption, nor was I trying to imply that.

Or they were both hit?

How sad.......so young. Rest in peace Hannah and the Horse. God must have needed two more angels in Heaven.

Can your "story" be any more vague?
Denise Lockwood March 08, 2013 at 10:07 PM
@USAF, trust me it's not because I'm not trying to get more info. But, I do know that whatever happened, the police here know nothing about it. I've called the family, but things like this are delicate and I've got my ear on this.

They were two completely separate deaths. Just ironic that it was the same day.

You need not have your ear on things that are none of your business. Me and my family are having the worst time of our life right now and we dont need ignortant comments or people trying to stick their noses into our personal tragedy. If this was your daughter, sister, or best friend I'm sure you wouldnt want people like you attempting to make a "story" about it. Hence why your calls werent returned. Get a life and stay out of ours.
