A Three-Foot Long Sword, Two Men And One Very Crazy Morning In Caledonia

30-year-old man faces battery charges.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct after he threatened a 23-year-old man with a sword in the 9800 block of Six Mile Road at 9:08 a.m. Friday, July 15.

According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, both men appeared hung over. The 23-year-old man had scrapes on his wrists, and bruises and scrapes to his back and knees.

The two had been out drinking at a bar, and started arguing. One of the men was frustrated with their relationship and the two started fighting. The 30-year-old man struck the other man with a wooden crate, but the 30-year-old man said the other man threatened him with a sword.Β  Police recovered a three-foot long sword and a smashed crate along with numerous other items that had been smashed.

When police assessed the injuries of both men, they 30-year-old man and took him to the Racine County Jail.
