Caledonia Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Hitting His Mother

The man denied using drugs, but wasn't happy with his mother's visit.

A man was arrested for allegedly hitting his mother after she confronted him about using drugs at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18.

According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, a 19-year-old Caledonia man was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct in the 400 block of Three Mile Road.

The man’s mother had come over to his apartment to confront him about doing drugs. The man told his mother to get out of the apartment, then “put his hands around her arms and physically removed her from the apartment.” The woman showed police fresh bruises on her left wrist, and that her shirt and fleece had been ripped. She told police her son struck her in the head. However, police didn’t see any injuries to her head.

Police arrested the man, who said he hasn’t been using drugs. He admitted to police he did physically remove his mother from the apartment, but he didn’t give them any details. The man, who was held on a probation hold, and was taken to the Racine County Jail.
