Forester-Hoare Murder Trial Set To Begin Today With Jury Selection

Sean Forester-Hoare is accused of stabbing Jonathan Kwiatkowski to death in April 2011. At 1:30 p.m., the prosecution and defense will be picking the members of the jury. Opening statements are expected to begin Tuesday morning.

Almost a year after pleading not guilty to homicide charges, Sean Forester-Hoare's trial will begin today, as the jury will be chosen.

The prosecuting attorney, Richard Chiapete, and the defense attorney, Jonathan A LaVoy, are expected to give their opening statements on Tuesday in front of Judge Allan B. Torhorst's courtroom.

Forester-Hoare, 30, of Wind Point, is accused of fatally stabbing his .

In January, statements made by Sean Forester-Hoare about the location of the knife he allegedly used to kill Jonathan Kwiatkowski last spring.

According to the criminal complaint and testimony from with Forester-Hoare over Jonathan's driving. Forester-Hoare also punched Lori and Tim Kwiatkowski. This prompted Richard Chiapete, the prosecuting attorney in the case, to file two additional charges against Forester-Hoare for the alleged altercation.

Forester-Hoare already faced life in prison if he was found guilty on the homicide charge. If he's found guilty of the two additional charges, he faces an additional 35 years in prison.
