Most readers flocked to a story about a Thomas Adams, the Horlick High School gym teacher charged with child enticement. Adams is accused to making inappropriate comments to a 15-year-old student, and, if convicted, faces up to 25 years in prison and/or up to $100,000 in fines.
Caledonia police respondedto a call for a domestic disturbance that ended in a drug arrest. According to the criminal complaint, a man was taken into custody for domestic abuse, and he was intoxicated with a blood alcohol of .25. When he was searched at the Racine County Jail, officers found a marijuana joint in his front pants pocket.

A fire on the wrap-around porch was quickly doused at a Johnson family home Monday morning. Luckily, no one was hurt because a babysitter and a child were successfully evacuated. Damage estimates are anywhere between $30,000 and $45,000.
