Man Dragged By Driver In Road Rage Incident

Police are searching for a driver that allegedly dragged a 61-year-old man about 100 feet during a road rage incident at 8:27 p.m. Sunday at Four Mile Road and North Main Street.

The victim told police the driver was in a bronze/copper colored older model Buick or Oldsmobile when he came up to Three Mile Road and he was tailgating the victim so close he couldn’t see the headlights, according to a report by the Caledonia Police Department.

Coming up to a stop sign at Four Mile Road and North Main, the driver honked his horn at the victim, who got out of his car and asked the driver what the problem was. Jerking the wheel to the left, the driver pressed the accelerator to the floor and tried to go around the victim, but he grabbed the windshield and was dragged for about 100 feet.

The victim had a scrape to his calf and he refused rescue.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a white male about 25-years-old. He was last seen on Four Mile Road.
