Racine Man Arrested for Drunk Driving After Striking Several Cars
Witness said "He was going to kill someone."
A man accused of drunk driving struck several cars in Wind Point and ended up being stopped at 3:07 p.m. Sunday, June 5 in the 1600 block of Four Mile Road in Caledonia.
Juan Manuel Alvarez Becerra, 24, of Racine, was arrested for drunk driving, having a prohibited blood-alcohol content, failing to control a vehicle, a stop sign violation, not having insurance and operating without a valid license.
According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, witnesses said they saw Alvarez Becerra run over a curb at the Wind Point Lighthouse. The witnesses followed Alvarez Becerra southbound on Lighthouse Drive, eventually he was westbound on Four Mile Road and Charles Street where he nearly struck several cars, drove through a stop sign, and into a yard before police stopped him.

Alvarez Becerra was arrested and taken to the Racine County Jail after a preliminary Breathalyzer test was .254, three times the legal limit of .08.
