Racine Man Tries To Drown Himself In Pond At Caledonia Church

But something pulled him away.

A man, who had taken cocaine for three days, went to a local church to drown himself.

According to a report by the , police and rescue workers responded to the call at 10:19 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20 at , 3045 Airline Rd.

The 40-year-old Racine man, who had been using cocaine for three days, told police he wanted to “jump in the pond and kill himself.”

He told police when he got to the church, he tried to jump into the pond, but “something took over his body and pulled him away from the pond.”

The man was taken to the hospital to get help.
