Committee and Village Board To Hold Several Meetings Tuesday

Several municipal meetings will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2 at the East Side Community Center, 6156 Douglas Ave.

Finance Committee: 5:45 p.m.

• Police station remodeling project: The Committee plans to make a recommendation to the Village Board on the bid for this project. The estimated cost is $150,000. Here's a link to the last story we wrote on the topic.

Special Village Board and Land Use Plan Management Team: 6 p.m.

• The Land Use Plan Management Team met last month and discussed a list of priorities under consideration for a review. The Village Board is expected to discuss and approve the list. Here's a to the last story we wrote on the topic. We'll have an updated preview story Tuesday.

Village Board: 7 p.m.

• Police station remodeling project: The Village plans to award the bid for this project. Here's  to the last story we wrote on the topic.
• The Village will consider a request for a conditional use permit, a preliminary certified survey map for a catch basin for sewer overflows during heavy rains. Here's a to the last story we wrote on the topic.
