DISCUSSION: Election Fever Is Upon Us

Between local, state and federal elections, we'd like your thoughts on election coverage.

Happy New Year! Last year rocked and I’m excited about 2012.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll likely spend quite a bit of time on elections, elections and more elections. If you didn’t know, Jan. 3 (today) is the last day to turn in papers for three Village Board positions. We’ve also got the possibility of a recall for Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Van Wanggaard (R-Racine). If that wasn’t enough, the Presidential primary will be held April 3 and I’m certain that I won’t be getting much sleep on election night.

But I wanted to know what you are looking for in election coverage? Is it helpful if we run candidate bios all together or separately? What issues are important to you? How well should you know the people you vote for? What do you want to know?
