The company hires a firm to perform inspections to nearby properties to gather baseline information so suspected damage can be analyzed over time.
"It's really for a snapshot in time," said DJ Leemon, the plant manager at Vulcan Materials. "With the stringent conditions that we are shooting here in Caledonia, we are well below the standards with the vibrations and air blasts. There is no way that is can cause any damage."
