Registration for 4 and 5-year-old kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year begins on Monday, March 12.

- Your child’s schedule and room assignments are completed.
- Your child’s transportation arrangements are ready.
- Your child’s paperwork is completed for free or reduced price lunch.
- You’ll avoid long lines on the first day of school.
- You’ll ensure that your child is ready to start learning this fall.

How to Enroll
Beginning on March 12, 2012, you may enroll your child at your attendance area school. Be sure to bring proof of address as well as your child’s birth certificate and immunization records when enrolling. During the summer months, you may register at the Racine Unified School District Enrollment Center, 3109 Mt. Pleasant St. All students, regardless of what school they will attend, must register for kindergarten.
To be eligible for the lottery/waiting list at one of RUSD’s elementary magnet schools, you must attend that school’s orientation program. For more information, click here.
