On January 9th it was reported by the Huffington Post that our Representative from the 1st CD is backing legislation called, "Fetal Personhood" or the "Sanctity of Human Life Act."
Once again the republicans are in attack mode against women. Why are women such an easy target?
Does anyone really know 100% what they would do if they were raped and found themselves pregnant? Do you know what your family would do if after having amniocentesis your baby would be born without multiple limbs, or have other significant health issues? What is more important after a car accident, protecting the mother's life or a 3 month old fetus?

These are very personal decisions and Paul Ryan should not be allowed to wave a magic wand and decide the fates of families put under this type of stress.
If you are a true Christian, you know the answer. God forgives the worst of sinners if they ask for his forgiveness. And yes they can still go to heaven.

I don't know what Bible Ryan reads, but it can't be that different that he has to sponsor a "Sanctity of Life Act."
This is not what our leaders in Washington should be talking about today. Remember last summer how we were held hostage over the debt ceiling? It is coming up again real quick. May be those elected to represent us should stop holding Americans hostage because of personal idiologies.
This is where the rubber meets the road - keep religion separate and out of politics. By our own constituion it is written there is a separation between church and state.
