The Racine area household hazardous waste collection site opens for the season on Saturday, April 16. Residents of Caledonia, Mount Pleasant, Sturtevant, Wind Point, Elmwood Park and North Bay are invited to drop off hazardous chemicals such as paints, fertilizers, insecticides, fluorescent lights and solvents.
The hazardous waste site will be open the third Saturday of the month from April through October.
